Community Guidelines
incove ("the Service") is a closed-group service where people close to one another gather and look back on short everyday moments together. It offers no public feed, discovery, or connection with strangers. These guidelines apply to all users.
1. User responsibilities
- Content is shown only within the group you shared it to and must not be taken outside that group without authorization.
- Content featuring other people must not exceed the scope of those people's consent.
- All users must treat one another with respect.
2. Prohibited conduct
The following content and conduct are prohibited regardless of the group and are subject to action when confirmed.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAE): A zero-tolerance policy applies; see the separate Child Safety Policy.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII): Video filmed or distributed without consent.
- Obscene or sexual content: Unwanted sexual or explicit material.
- Harassment, violence, hate: Threats or insults toward an individual, and discriminatory or hateful expression.
- Impersonation, illegal activity, and fraud.
3. Reporting and blocking
- You can report a video, message, user, or group via the ⋯ menu → Report. Reports are sent privately to our team only and are not shown to other group members.
- You can block a specific user. While blocked, no new content is shown between you, and a block can be lifted at any time.
- Videos and messages are end-to-end encrypted (E2EE), so our team cannot read them at will. A decrypted copy is submitted only when the recipient consents during a report.
4. Enforcement
Depending on severity, the following measures apply in stages.
- Delivery hold: The content is temporarily withheld during review (the original is not deleted).
- Deletion: Content confirmed to be in violation is deleted.
- Account suspension: Uploading, sharing, and inviting are restricted.
- Group dissolution and re-registration limits.
For illegal content (CSAE, non-consensual imagery, etc.), we report to law enforcement and the relevant authorities and preserve evidence in accordance with applicable law.
