How does incove protect privacy?
incove is a private video app that end-to-end encrypts every video and message (RSA-OAEP-3072 with AES-256-GCM, Argon2id for key derivation). The decryption key lives only in your device's secure storage, so even incove's servers cannot read your content, and EXIF metadata such as location is stripped on upload. Sealed Echoes are only gated on when they're delivered — never on what they say.
Videos and messages are encrypted on your device before they're stored. The server keeps only ciphertext and holds no key to open it. Even sealed Echoes are only gated on when they're delivered.
You create your key once with a passphrase and keep a recovery key safe. Day to day it unlocks automatically with no input; only a new device asks again. Lose the key and even we can't recover it — that's what true E2EE means.

No. Content is end-to-end encrypted and the decryption key lives only on your device, so the server cannot open it.
Hybrid RSA-OAEP-3072 with AES-256-GCM, Argon2id for key derivation, and the private key stored in your device's secure storage.
You can restore with your recovery key. If both are lost, even we cannot recover it — the flip side of the promise that no one can see your content.
